Four Figure 1 titles honoured by the Alcuin Awards for Excellence in Book Design
Four Figure 1 titles have been recognized by the Alcuin Society’s 2025 Awards for Excellence in Book Design, including two winning entries and two honourable mentions.

A total of 33 books were selected by the judges from 209 titles submitted from 79 publishers. The annual awards have been granted since 1981. Judges Jason Dewinetz, Mark Goldstein, and Gilbert Li, reviewed the submitted books on Feb. 28.
Founded in Vancouver in 1965, the Alcuin Society, is a Canadian non-profit whose members are interested in the book arts and whose primary mission is promoting the finest in Canadian book design. The winning books are exhibited both nationally and internationally, and nominated for the Best Book Design from all over the World competition in Leipzig, Germany.
