Paul Bride
Paul Bride is a professional photographer who has devoted nearly three decades to capturing the intersection of beauty and grit in spectacular locations all around the world. His photos have appeared in dozens of magazines—including over sixty front covers—among them Alpinist, Canadian Alpine Journal, Climbing, Explore, Men’s Journal, Mountain Life, National Geographic Adventure, Outside, PHOTONews, POWDER, Rock & Ice, and Skier, as well as in the New York Times, the Globe and Mail, and galleries across Canada. His many clients have included KUIU, Arc’teryx, Black Diamond, Lowepro, Mountain Equipment Company (MEC), Mitsubishi Motors Canada, Patagonia, Red Bull, Whistler Blackcomb, and YETI. Among his numerous awards and honours he is a two-time Red Bull Illume finalist; winner of Best Short Film at the Banff Mountain Film Festival, the International Photography Award, and the Memorial Maria Luisa International Photo Contest; and winner and finalist for the CVCEPHOTO International Mountain Photo Contest. When he’s not chasing wild experiences across the planet Bride lives in Britannia Beach, British Columbia.
