Figure 1 Publishing is delighted to welcome Mélanie Ritchot as our new Sales and Marketing Coordinator. Mélanie will provide sales and marketing support to promote Figure 1 titles, authors, and Figure 1 Publishing as a whole, with a focus on digital marketing strategies. 

Before delving into the world of publishing, Mélanie was a journalist reporting for publications like Nunatsiaq News, the Winnipeg Free Press, and Up Here Magazine. Her experience also includes communications, digital marketing, and analytics roles. As a Métis woman, Mélanie is passionate about Indigenous storytelling, and will provide editorial support on select Figure 1 titles. “I’m excited to be joining this team of talented and creative individuals,” she says, “I look forward to working with authors, and spreading the word about Figure 1’s fantastic forthcoming titles.”
